I used the same weight canvas for this table runner as I do my placemats, which is just one level lighter than my floorcloths. This is so they have a slightly lower profile to the table top. Other than that the process is pretty much the same. I stretched and prime the canvas using artist quality, flexible gesso. I painted it using high quality, fade resistant, acrylics and finished with 3 coats of flexible, non-yellowing polyurethane. The back is also primed and painted, and has a coat of poly to protect it from spills. It has a glued and heat pressed 1" hem to prevent fraying. My Black Horse Floorcloth logo is on the back along with my signature.
These are easy to clean with a damp cloth. No harsh chemicals or abrasives should be used.
Measures 13" x 36 3/4". Colors used are Wilmington Tan, Black, and Rare Sienna
